As we continue to strengthen our international operations, we are looking for an experienced Head – Supply Chain (International Logistics) based in Delhi NCR who can take ownership of our end-to-end international supply chain operations.

Role Overview The Head – Supply Chain will be responsible for managing the complete movement of specialty and bulk chemicals from Asia to Europe, including sourcing logistics, ocean freight, import customs clearance, hazardous chemical storage, ISO tank operations and last-mile delivery.

The role will work closely with the CEO / Business Head and will serve as a key supply-chain advisor, ensuring operational excellence while keeping customer service, safety, compliance and cost efficiency at the centre of decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Supply Chain Leadership

- Act as the primary supply-chain advisor to the CEO / Business Head.
- Develop and monitor KPIs covering customer service, landed cost, inventory turns, logistics performance, customs lead times and delivery reliability.
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Develop scalable supply-chain processes to support business growth.

International Logistics & Operations
- Manage end-to-end Asia-to-Europe chemical supply chain operations.
- Oversee ocean freight, seaport handling, import logistics, customs clearance, warehousing and last-mile transportation.
- Manage ISO tank logistics and bulk chemical transportation.
- Manage a fleet/portfolio of approximately 150 ISO tanks / containers.
- Handle FOB China procurement, imports and associated customs clearance.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and transportation providers.
- Develop contingency plans for international logistics disruptions and supply-chain volatility.

Customer-Centric Supply Chain
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service reliability remain central to supply-chain decisions.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to meet customer requirements.
- Improve shipment visibility, responsiveness and delivery performance.




- Proactively identify and resolve potential supply-chain issues affecting customers.

Technology & Salesforce
- Drive adoption and optimization of Salesforce as a supply-chain visibility and monitoring platform.
- Ensure shipment milestones, logistics documentation, customer commitments and operational KPIs are tracked accurately.
- Develop dashboards and analytics for real-time performance monitoring.
- Lead digital initiatives that improve efficiency, transparency and customer experience.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure safe and compliant handling, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals.
- Maintain working knowledge of European chemical regulations, including REACH and CLP.
- Identify and mitigate risks relating to transportation, storage, customs, compliance and customer service.
- Establish appropriate operational controls and contingency plans.

Supplier & Logistics Partner Management
- Negotiate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and logistics service providers.
- Drive freight optimization and landed-cost reduction.
- Improve working-capital efficiency without compromising safety, compliance or customer service.
- Build strategic relationships across Asia and Europe.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and Operations.
- Support demand planning, inventory management and cash-flow planning.
- Coordinate on Letters of Credit (LCs), payment reconciliation and supplier/customer requirements.
- Ensure commercial commitments are aligned with supply-chain capabilities.

Candidate ProfileExperience
- 4–12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, international logistics, chemical distribution, specialty chemicals, industrial chemicals, trading or logistics.
- Proven experience managing Asia-to-Europe international supply chains.
- Hands-on experience with hazardous chemicals, bulk chemical logistics and ISO tanks / containers.
- Strong experience in ocean/sea logistics.
- Experience managing import customs clearance.
- Experience with FOB China procurement and imports.




- Experience with hazardous chemical storage and handling.
- Experience managing logistics operations at scale is preferred.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, International Business or a related field will be an advantage.

Technical Skills
- Strong ERP knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and technology-enabled supply-chain monitoring platforms.
- Strong analytical, reporting and dashboarding capabilities.
- Good understanding of international shipping and logistics documentation.

Additional Requirements
- Candidates based in Delhi NCR will be preferred.
- Candidates willing to relocate to Noida may also be considered.
- Notice period of up to 2 weeks is preferred.
- Strong international communication and customer-facing capabilities are essential.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, international business environment.
