Role Description The Head of VAS (Value Added Services) is a full time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for defining the VAS strategy, designing differentiated service offerings, and driving their implementation across relevant business lines to enhance customer experience and retention. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing product development, coordinating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and technology, and managing partnerships with external service providers.

The Head of VAS will monitor performance metrics, optimize pricing and packaging, and ensure that all services comply with regulatory and internal quality standards.



The role also includes leading a team, setting clear objectives, managing budgets, and preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management to support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong background in product management or service development, preferably in insurance, financial services, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in strategy development, business planning, and portfolio management for value added services or similar offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and manage external partners or vendors.
- Experience using data analysis and performance metrics to drive decisions, optimize services, and improve customer outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Team leadership experience, including mentoring, performance management, and building an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or product management are an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Mumbai, with readiness for occasional travel as required.
