Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head of Risk – Capital Markets to lead and manage risk across trading and investment activities. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring exposures, establishing risk controls, and ensuring effective risk management across capital market operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the capital markets risk management function.

· Monitor trading positions, exposures, margins, MTM, and risk limits.

· Identify and mitigate market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.

· Establish and monitor position, exposure, and concentration limits.

· Prepare daily/weekly risk MIS and reports for senior management.

· Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis.

· Work closely with Dealing, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams.

· Ensure strong risk controls and timely escalation of breaches.





Requirements

· 7–10 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets / Trading Risk / Market Risk.

· FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification is mandatory/preferred.

· Must have prior work experience with a stockbroker, brokerage firm, or capital markets organization.

· Strong understanding of market risk, trading risk, exposure limits, and risk controls.

· Strong knowledge of equity, derivatives, and trading operations.

· Strong analytical and risk-management skills.

· Experience in risk limits, exposure monitoring, and risk reporting.

· Solid knowledge of Indian capital markets.

· FRM / CFA / CA / MBA Finance will be an advantage.
