Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Head of Quality with 20+ years of experience in the Automotive / Sheet Metal Auto Components industry. The candidate will be responsible for leading the complete Quality function, ensuring product and process quality, customer satisfaction, compliance with automotive standards, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the overall Quality function across the plant.
- Develop and implement quality strategies aligned with business and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and applicable customer-specific requirements.
- Manage quality systems for Press Shop, Sheet Metal Stamping, Welding, Fabrication, and Assembly.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs including Customer PPM, Internal PPM, Rejection, Rework, COPQ, and FPY.
- Drive reduction of customer complaints, rejection, rework, and process defects.
- Lead 8D, RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone, and problem-solving activities.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure timely containment, corrective action, and permanent resolution.
- Lead PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA,



SPC and related quality activities.
- Conduct and support internal, process, product, system, and customer audits.
- Ensure effective implementation of Quality Management Systems and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with Production, PPC, Tool Room, Maintenance, Purchase, and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Establish process controls and ensure adherence to approved specifications and control plans.
- Monitor supplier quality and coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, and Zero-Defect initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen inspection, testing, and measurement systems.
- Ensure calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
- Analyze quality data and present MIS/KPI reports to senior management.
- Train and develop quality teams and build a strong culture of quality ownership.
- Support recent product development, process validation, and successful launch of new projects.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are understood and effectively implemented.
- Lead cross-functional teams for critical quality issues and improvement projects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
