Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead the finance, accounting, taxation, and legal compliance functions for Coway’s India operations. Reporting directly to the India Leadership, the Head of Finance will drive financial governance, working capital control, treasury, internal controls, and cross-border financial reporting.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in managing financial strategy for consumer goods companies operating with high inventory turnover, multi-tier logistics, and global supply chain dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & HQ Reporting

- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis (AOP/LRP) aligned with Global HQ’s strategic goals.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Ind AS for local compliance and reconcile/convert them into IFRS for South Korea HQ consolidation.
- Drive profitability, margin expansion, and cost-efficiency initiatives across D2C, e-commerce, and offline channels.

2. Financial Operations, Accounting & ERP Management

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
- Maintain rigorous internal financial controls (IFCoR) and process frameworks to safeguard corporate assets.
- Manage complex inventory accounting, warehouse logistics provisions, and channel-wise sales reconciliations across D2C portals and marketplaces.

3. Direct & Indirect Taxation,



Transfer Pricing

- Ensure strict compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Customs Duty, and local statutory laws.
- Handle Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and benchmarking for cross-border intercompany transactions with Korea HQ and regional hubs.
- Lead interactions with tax authorities, statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory bodies.

4. Treasury, Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and liquidity risk.
- Oversee banking relationships, foreign currency exposure (FX management), and foreign remittance compliance under FEMA / RBI guidelines.

5. Statutory Compliance & Legal Governance

- Act as the primary interface for Company Secretarial (CS) matters, ROC filings, and board governance.
- Review vendor contracts, distributor agreements, leases, and cross-border trade documentation from a financial and risk mitigation standpoint.

Required Qualifications & Skills · Qualification: Mandatory Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from ICAI.

· Experience: Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification corporate finance experience.

· Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates coming from Multinational Consumer Durables, Consumer Electronics, Small Domestic Appliances, FMCG, or Retail.

· Cross-Border Exposure: Proven experience working in an MNC setting with overseas headquarters (reporting to global/regional stakeholders)

· In-depth expertise in Ind AS, IFRS, GST compliance, Transfer Pricing documentation, and FEMA regulations.

· Hands-on ERP Experience: Direct operational expertise using ERP systems is a strong added advantage.

Compensation

- Salary Structure: Competitive CTC as per industry standards.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
