Position - Head – Disability Services & Rehabilitation

Required Experience & Background The candidate should preferably have:

- 5–10 years or more of senior-level experience in Healthcare/Hospital Management.
- Previous experience in a position such as Manager Operations, Senior Operations Manager, General Manager – Operations, Hospital Administrator or an equivalent senior management role.
- Experience in managing large and multi-disciplinary healthcare/hospital organisations.
- Direct experience in Ophthalmology, Eye Hospital or Eye-Care organisations will be particularly desirable.
- Strong understanding of:
- Hospital Administration
- Clinical Coordination
- Human Resource Management
- Finance & Budget Management

· Procurement & Vendor Management
- Quality Management Systems
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Experience with an NGO, social-service organisation or mission-driven institution will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling CSR, institutional donors, philanthropic organisations and strategic partnerships will be preferred.

Role & Responsibilities The selected professional will be expected to take overall responsibility for the organisation's day-to-day operational management and work closely with senior leadership to strengthen professional management systems.

Major responsibilities will include

- Overall supervision of day-to-day hospital and organisational operations.
- Coordination between clinical, administrative and support departments.
- Manpower planning and coordination with HR.
- Monitoring departmental performance and productivity.
- Implementation and monitoring of SOPs and operational systems.
- Budgetary control and financial discipline.
- Procurement and vendor management.
- Quality assurance and compliance.
- Patient-service improvement and operational efficiency.
- Coordination with doctors, healthcare professionals and administrative teams.
- Support for CSR projects, institutional donors and strategic partnerships.
- Preparation of management reports and performance reviews.
- Identification of operational gaps and implementation of corrective actions.
- Development of a professional, accountable and transparent organisational work culture.
