Role Description The Head Chef (7 years’ experience) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Head

Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, presentation standards, and coordination of cooking activities. This role includes supervising and training kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.

Chef will work closely with management to design cost-effective menus, maintain quality and consistency, and support a positive dining experience for guests. The role also involves monitoring kitchen performance, controlling waste,



and continuously improving processes, recipes, and team efficiency.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in culinary techniques, menu development, and food presentation, with at least 7 years of qualified kitchen experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong skills in kitchen operations management, including staff supervision, scheduling, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and maintain high quality and consistency under pressure.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to train, motivate, and develop kitchen staff in a respectful and inclusive manner.
- Experience with cost control, budgeting, and portion management to support profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- A relevant culinary diploma, degree, or formal training from a recognized institute is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the operation, and willingness to be fully on-site in Gurugram.
