Job Summary

We are hiring a Lab/ Equipment Testing Engineer to support installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and uptime improvement for advanced semiconductor lab and manufacturing equipment.

The engineer will work with ATE systems and supporting infrastructure to ensure consistent reliability, calibration readiness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, modification, upgrade & maintenance of manufacturing/lab equipment
- Maintain equipment notices, upgrades and safety documentation
- Improve equipment uptime and reliability via preventive programs
- Electrical + mechanical troubleshooting and repair support
- Manage advanced equipment:
- Advantest ATE testers
- MAG5 / MAG2
- Chambers / ovens




- Drive AMC/PMC schedules with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Perform equipment calibration (Quarterly/Half-yearly)
- Daily checks: software updates, reboots, DUT checks, sessions, connectivity
- Load/unload parts and required binaries on testers
- Maintain documentation in Confluence or similar tracking tool
- Follow PPE, lockout and safety procedures
- Support TPM, 6S, ISO/IATF lab standards

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
- Equipment maintenance / manufacturing equipment support (23 yrs)
- ATE equipment handling exposure (Advantest preferred)
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Linux & Windows OS knowledge
- Networking/IT infra fundamentals
- Preventive maintenance schedules + calibration support
- Robust documentation + stakeholder communication
