Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support senior engineers and consultants in delivering vertical transportation and façade access projects, with a focus on technical analysis, design coordination, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection, technical calculations, report preparation, and reviewing drawings and specifications for lifts, escalators, and façade access systems. The role involves collaborating with project teams, attending internal and external meetings, and contributing to project planning, tracking, and quality assurance activities.





The Trainee will also help with research on standards, codes, and emerging technologies relevant to vertical transportation and façade access, and support site visits and inspections under supervision. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Bengaluru, with a combination of office-based work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written reporting and effective interpersonal communication in multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, perform calculations, and support engineering decision-making.
- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management skills to assist with task planning, schedule tracking, and coordination of project deliverables.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering principles relevant to components, materials, and production processes used in vertical transportation and façade access systems.
- Candidates should possess a solid grounding in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, machine elements, and engineering drawing, typically supported by a relevant degree (e.g., B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or related discipline).
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with building services or construction industry standards, basic proficiency in CAD or engineering software tools, and an interest in vertical transportation and façade access engineering.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Bengaluru, demonstrate attention to detail, and maintain a proactive, learning-oriented approach is highly desirable.
