Role Description This full-time Graduate Engineering Trainee role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will support senior engineers in delivering Vertical Transportation and Façade Access consulting services, including assisting with technical calculations, design reviews, and preparation of reports and presentations. Daily responsibilities will involve data collection and analysis, contributing to feasibility studies, helping develop technical specifications, and supporting project documentation and coordination.
The role includes collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, attending project meetings, and learning to apply relevant standards and regulations to engineering solutions. The trainee will receive structured guidance to develop professional skills in consulting, engineering analysis, and project delivery within a specialist building services environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, ideally with exposure to building services or related disciplines.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing Engineering or similar applied engineering skills relevant to design, planning, or technical analysis.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including comfort with data analysis, calculations, and problem-solving in technical contexts.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for preparing clear reports, documentation, and engaging with project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management abilities, such as organizing tasks, managing timelines, and supporting coordinated project delivery.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field are expected.
- Proficiency with standard office software and basic engineering tools; familiarity with CAD or simulation software is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, international consulting environment.
