Role Description The Google Ads Intern role at Grayson Digital is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with keyword research, ad copy creation, audience targeting, and basic bidding adjustments across Search, Display, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns. The intern will help monitor campaign performance, prepare performance reports, and identify opportunities to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall ROI.

This role also involves collaborating with the marketing team to align ads with landing pages, testing new creatives and targeting approaches,



and staying current with Google Ads best practices and platform updates. The intern will be expected to manage tasks responsibly, communicate clearly with team members, and contribute ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube) and an interest in pay-per-click (PPC) and performance marketing.
- Basic analytical skills, including comfort working with data, interpreting metrics, and using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio.
- Strong written communication skills for drafting clear, compelling ad copy and concise performance summaries.
- Ability to conduct structured research on keywords, competitors, and audience behavior to support campaign planning.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a remote full time environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and collaborative platforms used for campaign management, reporting, and team communication.
- Demonstrated interest in digital marketing through coursework, certifications (e.g., Google Ads), projects, or prior internship experience is beneficial.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
