- SENIOR PIPELINE REPORTING SPECIALIST

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Pipeline Reporting Specialist to convert raw pipeline inspection data, CCTV footage, sonar, and AI-flagged defects into clear, accurate, and client-ready inspection reports.

You will work closely with field engineers, data analysts, and our AI inspection software (Swasth AI) to ensure every defect is correctly classified, located, and documented to industry standards.

What You Will Do:

- Review CCTV/sonar footage and AI-generated defect flags from pipeline inspection runs
- Verify and standardize defect classifications (cracks, root intrusion, joint displacement, blockages, corrosion, etc.) per relevant coding standards (e.g., PACP or equivalent)
- Cross-check GIS coordinates and chainage data against defect locations for accuracy
- Compile structured inspection reports (PDF/Word/Excel) with defect summaries, severity ratings, and visual evidence (images/video stills).
- Maintain consistency and quality control across reports for multiple clients/projects




- Coordinate with field teams to clarify ambiguous footage or missing data
- Support continuous improvement of reporting templates and workflows, including feedback into our AI defect-detection pipeline

What We are Looking For:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in pipeline/sewer inspection reporting, CCTV inspection review, or utility asset assessment
- Bachelors degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, GIS, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Working knowledge of defect coding standards (PACP/WRc or similar)
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of video/image data
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Word; exposure to GIS tools is a plus
- Good written communication skills reports go directly to clients
- Proven ability to lead or mentor junior reporting staff, given the seniority level

Nice to Have:

- Experience using WinCan software is a big plus
- Experience working with AI-assisted inspection or defect-detection software
- Prior work in water/wastewater utilities, municipal infrastructure, or trenchless technology sectors
