Key Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive audits of SDS and Anesthesia coding to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CMS and ICD-10-CM guidelines.
- Review clinical documentation to validate the coding information as per CMS standards, provide detailed feedback to customer/Coder.

Good understanding on coding below concepts.
- Thorough understanding on Gastro related SDS and Anesthesia concepts
- Valuable interpretation skills reviewing and analyzing the medical records
- Assigning accurate medical necessity diagnosis to avoid any denials.
- Able to provide constructive and frequent feedback with coders
- Understanding the RCA and CAPA, accountability maintaining team quality
- Positive approach providing the feedback and maintain team harmony.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in medical coding with strong experience in E&M; coding with minor procedures.
- Must have experience in Gastro procedures and awareness of Anesthesia and E&M.;
- Must be certified by AAPC/AHIMA and should hold active credentials
- Should have experience in auditing, if not a QA can be an acting or designated QA
