Role Description The General Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care for conditions such as hernia, piles, and other gastrointestinal and lifestyle-related disorders treated at Healing Hands Clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, recommending appropriate surgical or non-surgical interventions, performing surgeries and procedures, and managing pre-operative and post-operative care.

The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical protocols,



and participating in continuous quality improvement and clinical audits. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Healing Hands Clinic in the Hyderabad Division, requiring a robust commitment to safe, evidence-based, and empathetic patient care.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine and Surgery, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of surgical conditions.
- Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS, DNB, or equivalent).
- Current registration with the appropriate medical council and compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in performing common general surgical procedures, ideally including colorectal and hernia surgery.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered and gender-neutral approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a high-volume, specialty clinic environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, adherence to evidence-based practice, and participation in training or quality initiatives.
