About the Role

Victory Minerals Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead overall operations, production strategy, and administrative management at our Iron Ore Beneficiation facility in Bellary, Karnataka. The candidate will be responsible for maximizing circuit recovery and grade, optimizing resource utilization, enforcing safety standards, managing cross-functional teams, and driving cost control across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Operations Management: Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets for crushing, grinding, beneficiation, and washing circuits. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machinery while maintaining accurate stock records of ROM, finished products, and dispatches.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive seamless coordination across Mechanical, Electrical, Purchase, Stores, Accounts, HR, Admin, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and timely customer dispatches.
- Process, Quality & Cost Control: Monitor quality parameters to optimize Fe recovery grade and minimize tailing losses. Control fuel (diesel), spare parts, and consumable usage while implementing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and control OpEx.
- Team Leadership & Administration: Supervise shift in-charges, engineers, operators, and contract workers. Manage work allocation, attendance, discipline,



and training to maintain high productivity and team motivation.
- EHS & Statutory Compliance: Enforce strict Workplace, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices, maintain mine/factory-related statutory registers, and ensure full adherence to environmental and local labor regulations.
- MIS Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports—covering production, breakdown analysis, diesel consumption, and dispatches—to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mining, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 12–15 years of hands-on experience in mineral processing, crushing, or beneficiation plant operations (Iron Ore background strongly preferred), with proven senior management exposure.
- Technical & Software Skills: Strong expertise in crushing and beneficiation circuit management, preventive maintenance protocols, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, email communication, and MIS reporting.
- Core Competencies: Excellent leadership, decision-making, cost optimization, and transparent cross-departmental communication. Working knowledge of local language (Kannada) is preferred for labor and stakeholder management.
