Medical Gastroenterologist – Key Responsibilities

Conduct OPD consultations and diagnose GI & liver disorders

Manage stomach, intestine, liver, pancreas, and biliary conditions

Perform endoscopy / colonoscopy as per expertise

Provide medical treatment and follow-up care

Handle GI emergencies and coordinate with other specialists

Maintain patient records and counsel patients on treatment and lifestyle

Surgical Gastroenterologist – Key Responsibilities

Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate surgical GI cases

Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions

Perform laparoscopic / open GI surgeries as per expertise

Handle emergency surgical cases and post-operative care

Monitor complications and coordinate with other specialists

Maintain clinical records and counsel patients regarding surgery
