About The Role We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Game Designer with expertise in board game reasoning to join our client's team on a full time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, allowing you to contribute to cutting-edge AI training and evaluation projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and assess reasoning tasks based on complex board games, applying your knowledge of game mechanics, strategic decision-making, and rule systems to enhance AI model performance. You will play a crucial role in creating high-quality datasets that enable AI systems to better understand and interpret strategic reasoning, ultimately advancing the capabilities of next-generation artificial intelligence models.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, cognitive science, game design, philosophy, economics, or a related analytical discipline.
- At least two years of professional or semi-professional experience in board game design, playtesting, tabletop gaming communities, or strategy-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of logic, probabilistic reasoning, game mechanics, and complex rule systems.
- Background knowledge in game theory, behavioral economics, decision science, or formal logic.
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting evaluation results, creating guidelines,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities As a Game Designer specializing in board game reasoning, your key responsibilities will include:

- Creating and reviewing game-based reasoning tasks designed to evaluate the reasoning capabilities of AI systems.
- Analyzing board game scenarios, strategic decision trees, and rule-based systems to develop comprehensive datasets.
