Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fund Accountant with robust hands-on experience in Private Equity or Private Credit fund accounting. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in end-to-end fund accounting, NAV calculation, financial reporting, reconciliations, and fund operations, along with exposure to technology-driven fund accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end fund accounting activities for Private Equity and/or Private Credit funds.

Prepare, calculate, review, and validate fund NAVs accurately and within defined timelines.

Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.

Perform accounting for cash, investments/positions, capital activity, accruals, expenses, income, and other fund-level transactions.

Handle capital calls, contributions, distributions, investor activity, and fund-level transactions.

Perform cash, position, and other reconciliations and investigate/resolve breaks.

Work with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of audits and tax filings.

Prepare and review fund financial statements and periodic reporting.

Ensure accurate accounting treatment of investment transactions, fees, expenses, and accruals.

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, administrators,



auditors, and other stakeholders as required.

Identify process gaps and support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Work with fund accounting platforms, financial systems, advanced Excel/automation tools, and other technology solutions.

Support system implementations, data integrations, workflow automation, and technology enhancements related to fund accounting.

Ensure adherence to applicable accounting policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Private Equity or Private Credit fund accounting.

Proven experience in end-to-end fund accounting and NAV calculation.

Good understanding of fund structures, investment accounting, capital activity, expenses, accruals, and reconciliations.

Experience in NAV preparation/review and validation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced MS Excel skills; exposure to VBA, automation, or data-processing tools is an advantage.

Experience working with fund accounting systems/technology platforms is preferred.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Preferred Technology Exposure

Proficiency in fund accounting software (e.g., Investran, Geneva, or similar).
