Gage Labs is an AI transformation partner. We build software and AI operating systems for real businesses, including international commerce and operations workflows.

You will work directly with me as a technical execution partner on complete product journeys—not isolated tickets. You will translate business requirements into a written plan, build across the stack, verify the result with evidence, and communicate blockers before they become deadline surprises.

I will teach you the client domain, workflows, and product rules. You should arrive with strong engineering fundamentals.

One week you may debug stale marketplace data across an API and dashboard. Another week you may build an AI-powered content workflow, improve a client-facing interface, or make a background process reliable.

You should be able to:

- Build responsive React/Next.js interfaces with correct loading, error, empty and mobile states.
- Build and debug Python/FastAPI APIs and integrations.
- Contribute to Node.js/TypeScript backend services when required.
- Design SQL schemas, migrations, constraints, transactions and safe update paths.
- Handle webhooks, retries, idempotency, background jobs,



rate limits and failures.
- Write meaningful unit, integration and browser tests.
- Trace a user action through component → API → logic → database → response → final screen.
- Use logs and evidence instead of guessing.
- Deploy carefully and communicate blockers early.
- Explain and modify every important piece of code you submit.

AI coding tools are welcome, but you must understand, test and defend the result. Experience with e-commerce, scraping, marketplace data, PostgreSQL/Azure SQL, Redis, Docker, Playwright/Cypress, LLM APIs, AI image/video, multilingual products or creative automation is valuable.

Please do not apply with only certificates, tutorial clones, a frontend-only portfolio, a backend-only API collection or a list of AI tools.

Show us one real product or serious project and explain exactly what you personally built.
