Role Description This is a full time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Dehradun.

The Freight

Broker will source and secure freight from shippers, negotiate rates with carriers, and manage end-to-end coordination of shipments.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, handling dispatching and load scheduling, and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution. The role also involves managing accounts, maintaining accurate documentation, and using transportation management systems and communication tools to track loads and provide status updates.





The Freight

Broker will collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including rate negotiation and carrier-shipper coordination.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Dispatching skills, including load planning, scheduling, and real-time shipment tracking.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to build long-term client and carrier relationships and maintain accurate records.
- Relevant skills such as knowledge of logistics and transportation regulations, basic data entry, and proficiency with MS Office and online freight platforms are beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and time management, are preferred.
- Prior experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory if experience is demonstrated.
