Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will work full-time in a remote capacity, collaborating closely with the creative and marketing teams to produce engaging video content for various digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage into polished videos, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and aligning visual storytelling with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating on video concepts, organizing and managing media assets, optimizing videos for different formats and channels, and meeting agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.

Editor will also provide input on best practices for visual content, maintain consistent branding across projects, and adapt edits based on feedback from stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, syncing audio, and crafting clear narrative flow.

- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand-aligned aesthetics.

- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create dynamic titles, transitions, overlays, and other visual elements.

- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).

- Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media video formats (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, ads, and short-form content).

- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven workplace.

- Portfolio demonstrating professional video editing, color grading, and motion graphics work;

experience with agency or brand projects is a plus.

- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent professional experience is also valued.
