Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Freelance Medical Writer. The writer will create clear, accurate, and evidence-based medical and scientific content related to digital pathology, AI-driven diagnostics, and oncology workflows.

Daily tasks include researching peer-reviewed literature and clinical guidelines, drafting and refining manuscripts, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and product-related content, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical standards. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, product and marketing teams, and reviewing feedback to update and maintain high-quality materials.



The writer is expected to manage multiple projects, meet agreed deadlines, and adapt content for different audiences, including clinicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong Medical Writing and Medical Communications skills for creating clear, clinically accurate content.
- Proficiency in Scientific Writing and Research to synthesize complex data and peer-reviewed literature.
- Excellent general Writing skills, including organization, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, or MS in a life science) or equivalent experience in medicine, biomedical sciences, or related field.
- Experience with oncology, pathology, or digital health is highly preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both expert and non-expert audiences.
- Familiarity with medical publication standards, citation styles, and ethical guidelines (e.g., ICMJE, GPP).
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with strong time-management and organization skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, researchers, and product or marketing stakeholders.
- Fluency in English with excellent grammar, style, and consistency.
