Hiring JD– FR&D; Executive / Scientist – Nutraceuticals Department: Formulation Research & Development (FR&D;) Industry: Nutraceuticals / Dietary Supplements Experience: 3–6 years Location: Vemgal ida, Bangalore Job Purpose We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong FR&D; professional with hands-on experience in nutraceutical formulation development, particularly oral solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. The candidate will be responsible for developing new products from concept to commercialization, optimizing existing formulations, conducting scale-up trials and supporting technology transfer to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize nutraceutical formulations including tablets, capsules, powders, sachets, chewables and other oral dosage forms. Conduct pre-formulation studies, including evaluation of active ingredients, excipients, compatibility, flow properties, compressibility and stability. Develop formulations based on product requirements, label claims, target dosage and cost parameters. Select suitable raw materials, active ingredients, excipients and functional ingredients. Conduct laboratory trials, prototype development and optimization of formulations. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes such as blending, granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling and powder processing. Conduct pilot-scale and scale-up trials and support transfer of products from R&D; to commercial production. Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing problems such as weight variation,



capping, sticking, picking, poor flow, segregation, dissolution/disintegration and stability issues. Conduct and monitor accelerated and long-term stability studies Work closely with QA, QC, Production, Purchase, Regulatory and Packaging teams for successful product development and commercialization. Prepare formulation development reports, trial records, specifications, BOMs, manufacturing instructions, protocols and other technical documents. Support preparation and review of MFR/BMR, specifications, SOPs and technology-transfer documents. Evaluate new ingredients, delivery technologies and innovative dosage forms through literature, supplier Review competitor products and market trends and identify opportunities for current product development. Ensure formulations comply applicable FSSAI, GMP and other relevant regulatory requirements. Maintain proper laboratory records and ensure adherence to GMP/GLP, safety and documentation practices.

Required Qualifications M.Pharm / B.Pharm Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Technology, Biotechnology or related discipline. 3–6 yrs of relevant experience in FR&D; preferably in nutraceuticals, vitamins & minerals, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical oral solid dosage forms.

- Candidates from Pharma FR&D; with relevant OSD experience and willingness to work in nutraceutical formulation development may also be considered.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
