Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Foundry Manager to manage our in-house foundry operations, including Cast Iron (CI), SG Iron (Ductile Iron), and other cast components. The candidate will be responsible for production, quality, manpower, melting, moulding, process control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day foundry production and ensure timely delivery.

- Handle CI and SG Iron (Ductile Iron) melting and casting processes.

- Control and monitor furnace operations, charge composition, inoculation, and treatment processes.

- Ensure correct chemical composition, temperature, and metallurgical properties of castings.

- Supervise moulding, core making, pouring, fettling, shot blasting, grinding, and finishing operations.

- Develop and maintain process parameters for different grades and casting requirements.

- Ensure casting quality through proper inspection and testing.

- Identify and reduce casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage, blowholes, inclusions, cracks, and dimensional defects.

- Manage foundry manpower, shift planning, and daily production targets.

- Coordinate with the CNC, Quality, Production, and Design teams for casting requirements.

- Maintain proper records of melting,



material consumption, rejection, rework, and production.

- Ensure safe working practices and proper maintenance of foundry equipment.

- Control raw material and alloy consumption to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

- Implement continuous improvement and waste-reduction practices.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 5–10 years of relevant foundry experience, preferably in CI and SG Iron/Ductile Iron casting.

- Strong knowledge of melting, moulding, pouring, inoculation, and metallurgical processes.

- Experience in handling foundry furnaces and production equipment.

- Good knowledge of casting defects and corrective actions.

- Ability to manage workers, supervisors, and production schedules.

- Experience with quality control and foundry testing procedures.

- Knowledge of spectrometer analysis, hardness testing, microstructure, and mechanical properties is preferred.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand casting requirement

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
