BrandVelocity AI is Looking for:**** BrandVelocity.ai is building the visibility layer for AI search — helping B2B software companies understand why they're absent from AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) and fixing it. We're a 4-person pre-seed team, SOC 2 Type II certified, and part of the Google AI Startup Program (India).

This is our first hire in this discipline. You'll work directly with all three founders — no process to inherit, a lot of influence over how this works.

What You'll Do

- Run AI search visibility (SEO, AEO, GEO) for our first 10–15 clients — diagnose why they're absent from the answers that matter and build the assets that fix it
- Build prompt taxonomies for each client's category: the questions their buyers ask before they've heard of them
- Run and interpret visibility measurement across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews
- Map the sources that decide a category — subreddits, review sites, comparison pages, trade publications — and identify where the client is missing
- Build comparison, alternatives, and "vs" pages; FAQ and Q&A; content designed to be lifted by AI engines; schema and structured data specifications
- Own client accounts — run engagements, readouts, and renewal conversations
- Codify the repeatable parts of your process so our engineers can build it into the product

Must Haves

- 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience — you ran the audits, made the calls, and owned the outcomes
- Active AEO and GEO exposure — evidence of running prompts across engines, tracking citations, and testing what changes an answer. Reading about it is not exposure




- Strong writing ability — a large part of this job is producing assets clients publish under their own name

Good to Have

- Client-facing or account ownership experience
- Agency background with multi-brand exposure
- Product company (B2B SaaS) background
- Experience at AI visibility-native companies (e.g. Passionfruit, Tendin, Profound, Cube)
- Built and measured comparison / alternatives / "vs" pages
- Converted your own process into a template or tool
- G2, Capterra, or TrustRadius profile and review-generation experience
- Understanding of B2B SEO mechanics — multi-stakeholder targeting, lead gen tracking, long-form authority content
- Technical SEO skills — site architecture, schema, structured data
- Has personally executed SEO work end-to-end, not just directed others

What We Don't Need

- People management experience
- Link building at volume or grey-hat tactics
- Enterprise agency process or high-volume content production

Work setup: Bengaluru preferred (2x per week in-person); remote acceptable for exceptional candidates. 6-day week, flexible outcome-based hours. Occasional US hours overlap for client calls. Stock options included in offer. How to apply for this opportunity?
