About Texara

Texara is building the operating system for interior design firms. We started with how designers find, specify and sample materials, and we are extending into how firms run their projects, teams and clients. The platform is live and in use by design firms across India, the UAE and Hong Kong.

Why this role exists

At this stage, founder bandwidth is the single biggest limit on how fast we grow. Partnerships, design firm relationships, supplier conversations, marketing, events, research and operations all compete for the same hours. This role is a direct extension of the founder, at the desk and on the ground.

Role Overview

You will work directly with the founder across strategy, growth and go to market, brand, marketing, partnerships and operations. There is no fixed lane. You take on whatever matters most that month and see it through from start to finish. Research and a deck one day, a meeting with a design firm or a mill the next.

What you will do

- Build partnerships with design firms, suppliers and brands, and move each conversation to a decision
- Shape how Texara looks and sounds, from social and campaigns to decks and events
- Represent us in meetings, showrooms and trade events across Mumbai and India
- Prepare research, presentations and pitch material for clients, partners and investors
- Keep operations moving so that nothing stalls and every open thread is closed
- Drive go to market with the founder:



bring new design firms onto the platform, test which channels work, and track what actually converts
- Own special projects end to end as priorities shift

What a good week looks like

Conversations moving forward without the founder chasing them. Decks and research ready before the meeting. Every follow up sent. Nothing quietly dying after a positive conversation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 2 to 4 years in marketing, brand, business development, consulting, operations or a startup
- A real eye for design and a feel for marketing and design. Our customers are designers, and they notice
- A fluent, confident speaker in English and Hindi, comfortable in a room with senior designers and clients
- A clear writer and structured thinker who can turn a rough brief into a polished output
- You do what you said you would, and you say so early when something is stuck
- You finish things without being chased

Nice to Have

- Exposure to interiors, architecture, furniture, textiles or luxury brands
- Experience with partnerships, events or on ground activations
- Working knowledge and adept with AI tools
