We are looking for a Food Technologist Techno-Commercial professional who can combine technical food-industry knowledge with commercial and customer-facing responsibilities. The candidate will support product development, technical sales, customer requirements, quality coordination, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical product solutions.

- Handle techno-commercial enquiries, quotations, product specifications, and technical discussions.

- Coordinate with customers, sales teams, production, R&D;, purchase, and quality departments.

- Support new product development, trials, sampling, and product improvement.

- Prepare and review product specifications, COA, technical data sheets, and other technical documents.

- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for customers.

- Provide technical support and resolve customer product-related queries.

- Study market trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements.

- Assist the sales team in identifying new business opportunities.

- Participate in customer visits, plant visits, trials, and product evaluations.

- Coordinate product testing and quality-related requirements with the QC/QA team.





- Ensure products meet applicable food safety and quality standards.

- Support commercial negotiations by providing technical inputs on products and applications.

- Maintain records of enquiries, samples, trials, customer feedback, and technical discussions.

- Prepare regular reports on technical sales activities and business opportunities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of food processing, food ingredients, formulation, and quality parameters.

- Good understanding of food safety and quality standards.

- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

- Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into commercial solutions.

- Positive negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

- MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and basic reporting skills.

- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.

Preferred Profile

- Experience in food ingredients, food processing, FMCG, nutraceuticals, additives, or related industries.

- Experience in technical sales, B2B sales, R&D;, application development, or techno-commercial roles will be preferred.

- Candidates with strong technical knowledge and commercial understanding are encouraged to apply.
