Role Description The Food Service Worker role at Cotto global is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. This role involves preparing and assembling menu items according to COTTO’s recipes and standards, ensuring food quality, portion accuracy, and timely service.

The Food Service

Worker supports front-of-house operations by taking orders, serving guests, managing queues, and maintaining a welcoming, clean dining environment. Day-to-day tasks include following food safety and hygiene procedures,



operating kitchen equipment safely, restocking supplies, and assisting with opening and closing duties. The role also requires working collaboratively with team members to deliver consistent guest experiences and support peak service hours.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage handling, with attention to quality and consistency.
- Experience in Food Service, including order taking, serving, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards, hygiene practices, and safe operation of kitchen equipment.
- Customer Service skills, including clear communication, problem-solving, and a friendly, skilled demeanor.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks in a fast-paced QSR environment.
- Basic numeracy and POS skills for handling orders and payments; prior QSR or restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
