About CurryLane Kitchen

CurryLane Kitchen is a restaurant located in Aerocity, Mohali, offering dine-in, takeaway, home delivery and drive-thru services.

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, responsible and customer-focused FOH Team Member to join our restaurant team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting smooth day-to-day front-of-house operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

- Welcome and greet customers in a friendly, polite and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Assist customers with menu information, food choices and basic recommendations.
- Take customer orders accurately for dine-in, takeaway and drive-thru.
- Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check orders before serving or handing them over to customers.
- Handle customer questions and basic complaints professionally.
- Escalate customer complaints or operational issues to the supervisor/manager when required.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming and qualified environment for customers.

Drive-Thru Operations
- Greet customers promptly at the drive-thru.
- Take drive-thru orders accurately and confirm the order with the customer.
- Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen team.
- Handle drive-thru billing and payments as required.
- Ensure orders are complete, properly packed and handed over correctly.
- Maintain speed and accuracy during busy drive-thru periods.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other FOH team members to minimize waiting time.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the drive-thru service area.
- Provide polite and professional service to every drive-thru customer.

Billing & Order Handling
- Operate the POS/billing system accurately after training.
- Handle cash, card and digital payments as required.
- Generate customer bills accurately.
- Verify orders and payments before completing transactions.
- Coordinate takeaway and pickup orders.
- Assist with online/delivery orders when required.




- Ensure takeaway and delivery orders are properly packed and complete before handover.
- Coordinate with the kitchen during busy periods to ensure smooth order flow.

Food Safety & Hygiene
- Follow all restaurant food-safety, hygiene and cleanliness procedures.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Wear the required uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Wash and sanitize hands regularly and follow proper food-handling practices.
- Handle food, plates, cutlery and packaging hygienically.
- Prevent cross-contamination by following proper food-handling procedures.
- Keep tables, counters, service areas and customer-facing areas clean and sanitized.
- Clean and sanitize FOH equipment and work areas as required.
- Ensure food and service areas are maintained according to restaurant hygiene standards.
- Immediately report any food-safety, hygiene, cleanliness or quality issue to the supervisor.
- Follow all company SOPs relating to food safety and hygiene.

Restaurant Operations
- Set up the FOH and dining area before service.
- Keep tables clean and properly arranged.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Maintain adequate stock of cutlery, napkins, tissues, takeaway packaging and other service items.
- Keep the counter, dining area, service area and drive-thru area clean and organized.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support the team during lunch, dinner and peak business hours.
- Work closely with kitchen, management and other FOH team members.
- Follow restaurant SOPs, safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist colleagues when required to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Perform other reasonable FOH duties assigned by the restaurant supervisor or manager.

Candidate Requirements We are looking for candidates who are:

- Willing to learn restaurant SOPs, POS operations and food-safety procedures.

- Flexible to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays according to the restaurant schedule.

Education & Experience Education: 10th/12th pass or equivalent. No specific degree is required.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, QSR, hotel, hospitality or customer-service role is preferred.

Freshers are welcome to apply if they have good communication skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Previous experience in FOH, restaurant service, cashier/POS, takeaway, customer service or drive-thru operations will be an advantage.

Working Conditions
- Full-time restaurant position.
- Shift-based work.
- Candidate should be comfortable working during lunch, dinner and peak business hours.
- Weekend and holiday work may be required according to the duty roster.
- The position involves standing, walking and regular interaction with customers.
- The candidate may be required to work across different FOH areas, including dine-in, takeaway counter and drive-thru.

Salary ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Salary will be decided based on the candidate's interview performance, previous experience, communication skills, customer-service ability and overall suitability for the role.
