Experience Required: 6 to 8 Years (Store Activity, Scrap Handling, General Store MIS & SAP)

Job Responsibility

Our company is looking for an experienced Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager (Stores) who will be responsible for:

- MIS Preparation
- Monthly Inventory Ageing (COP) MIS
- General Store MIS

- Yearly Activities

- Inventory Provision (Non-moving, Obsolete, Surplus)
- Chemical Stock (Environment) Summary Report
- Scrap Generation & Sales Report

- Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

- Manage vendor inventory process to reduce plant inventory cost.

- Plant Purchase Requisition

- Release purchase requests after checklist verification.
- Review stock availability in other plants.
- Check ageing stock in other batches.
- Review repetitive requirements despite consignment stock in pipeline.
- Monitor Min-Max & VMI list.

- Annual Rate Contract (ARC) Process

- Prepare Purchase Orders as per finalized ARC.
- Coordinate with Purchase Team.
- Perform GRN receipt and SAP quality activities.

- Stock Transfer Orders (STO)

- Prepare STO as required.
- Process sales invoices against STO from other units.

- Inventory Management

- Maintain inventory for non-moving items.
- Optimize utilization through inter/intra plant transfers.

- Scrap Management

- Develop new customers.
- Conduct E-auctions.
- Ensure competitive market pricing.
- Continue E-auction process initiated in 2021 for transparency.
- Maintain housekeeping in scrap yard.
- Proper binning system.
- Scrap segregation.




- Timely lifting of scrap to avoid yard congestion.

- Physical Verification (Engineering Spares)

- Monthly verification based on high-value & ageing items.
- Quarterly joint physical verification with Accounts (Q1–Q4).

- Gas Cylinder Handling

- Receipt, issue and reconciliation.
- Manage plant door delivery.
- Maintain minimum stock.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery.

- Min-Max (Material Requirement Planning)

- Maintain minimum safety stock of critical consumables.
- Follow approved SOP.
- Coordinate with Purchase & Vendors for timely dispatch.

- Heavy Engineering Spare Storage Yard

- Maintain housekeeping.
- Location-wise storage of materials.
- Preserve material using tarpaulin covers and pallets.

- Store Vehicles

- Maintain requirement and maximize utilization of hired store vehicles (Farhana, Forklift, Tractor, Pickup) in stores and plant to avoid idle time.

- SAP Quality Check

- Perform quality check in SAP for all incoming GRNs after inspection.
- Meet project and normal plant requirements for high-frequency material receipt & issue.

Responsible for participating in all required committee and safety meetings and contributing to safety compliance.

Specific Skill Set

- Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to various challenges.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP System related to Stores and SCM functional transactions.
- Strong sense of time management and urgency; able to work independently and within a team.
