Ecolab is searching for a driven Financial Analyst for future opportunities within our Distributor Finance team in Pune, India.

This analyst level role will perform a variety of support related activities including handling inbound and outbound support to distributors and Ecolab associates in various roles throughout the organization. Some activities include reporting, analytics, stakeholder engagement, process improvement etc. This position is responsible for accurate and timely turnaround in accordance too service level agreements.

What You Will Do:

- Ensure all reporting, analytics, pricing support, and transaction processing activities are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with established desktop procedures and internal controls.
- Lead distributor accounts receivable analysis, including weekly reporting, deduction reviews,



and account-level reconciliation of debits and credits to ensure financial accuracy and timely issue resolution.
- Manage the annual distributor buy price adjustment and inventory revaluation process, ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate financial impact assessment.
- Oversee the Advance Refund Program, including onboarding new distributors, monitoring program compliance, and delivering monthly performance and financial reporting to business divisions.
- Drive continuous process improvement by enhancing existing tools, reports, KPIs, and developing recent analytics solutions to provide actionable insights and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver financial support, ad-hoc reporting, and analytical insights that support informed business decision-making.
- Coordinate SOX compliance activities, including documentation, control testing, and audit support to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization to strengthen controls, improve productivity, and elevate the quality of service delivery.

Basic Qualifications & skillsets:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.




- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Preferred experience with data analytics and automation tools such as Python, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of SAP with a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and financial workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to effectively engage, influence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a transparent and concise manner.
