Chennai

About the role eG Innovations runs a global events program and holds technology partnerships with the vendors whose platforms our customers depend on every day. This role owns both. You will plan and run our conference and event presence end to end, and you will make our existing partner relationships productive through joint marketing, shared campaigns, and the vendor funding those programs already make available.

This is an activation role. eG holds partner program memberships, marketplace listings and certifications across several major vendors. This role is responsible for keeping the alliances engine running in top form

Events and field marketing

- Own the events calendar. Identify, recommend, schedule, and run all conferences, tradeshows, and field events.
- Take full ownership of planning and execution for each event, from the decision to attend through to post-event follow-up and reporting.
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors and contractors, materials, and logistics so every detail lands on time.
- Run day-to-day event administration: sponsorship selection, purchase orders, vendor management, reservations, attendee coordination, registration, RSVP tracking, and issue resolution.
- Manage event registrations, invoicing, payment schedules, and the events budget.
- Manage tradeshow assets including booth, display items, and giveaways. Keep inventory, storage, and shipping logistics under control in both directions.
- Handle speaker and session management, expo logistics, and sponsorship fulfillment.
- Report on cost per event, leads generated, and pipeline influenced, and use those numbers to shape the following year's calendar.

Partner and alliances marketing

- Build and maintain a complete inventory of eG's existing partner program memberships, certifications and marketplace listings,

covering what each one entitles us to in co-marketing benefits, directory placement, event participation, lead sharing and funding.
- Own the accuracy of every partner-facing asset we publish: the technology partners page, partner directory listings, marketplace listing content, solution briefs and co-branded collateral.
- Track renewal and expiry dates for every partner certification and program membership we hold, and surface them well in advance so decisions get made deliberately rather than by lapse.
- Act as the marketing point of contact for partner marketing teams, and claim the co-marketing benefits and lead sharing those programs already provide to members.
- Plan and run joint marketing activity within existing programs: co-hosted webinars, joint event presence, co-branded content, and participation in partner campaigns.
- Identify which events and campaigns already in the plan qualify for partner funding and prepare the funding submission before the spend is committed. Track approvals, run the activity, and file the claim afterward with the evidence each program requires.
- Work with sales leadership wherever a partner conversation needs a commercial relationship or an executive sponsor behind it.

What success looks like

First 90 days

- Events calendar for the next four quarters agreed and budgeted.
- A complete inventory of eG's partner programs: what we hold, what each entitles us to, and which benefits are going unused.

- Renewal and expiry dates recorded for every certification and program membership we hold.

By month six

- Technology partners page and every partner directory listing current and accurate.
- At least two joint marketing activities live with named partners.
- First partner funding submission prepared against activity already in the plan.

By month twelve

- A co-marketing plan agreed with each priority partner, built around activity we were already going to run.
- At least one vendor funding claim approved and reimbursed.

Skills and qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years in B2B marketing with genuine ownership of events. Partner or alliances marketing experience is an advantage and will be reflected in the level of the offer.
- Comfortable working with international teams across time zones.
- Demonstrable experience running events end to end, including budget ownership.
- High attention to detail, with strong organization and project management skills. Partner funding depends on submitting before the activity and claiming afterward with complete evidence, so administrative rigor matters here.
- Confident building working relationships outside the company, with vendors, partners, and venue teams.
- Reliable on deadlines, with open and consistent communication to marketing and sales.
- Solid sense of ownership and a bias for action.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and inside a team.
- Analytical and creative problem solving.

Advantage

- Experience with vendor partner programs at AWS, Microsoft, Citrix, Nutanix, Omnissa, IGEL, or similar.
- Experience preparing or claiming market development funds.
- Background in enterprise software or IT infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
