Factory Manager (Founder's Office) – Trubekka (Rekhaus LLP)

Location: Bantala, Kolkata | Job Type: Full-time

Trubekka, a premium furniture brand based in Kolkata, is looking for a Factory Manager to work directly with the founders and act as the central link between all departments. This is not a typical factory role — you will be the person who makes sure things actually get done, connecting design, production, procurement, dispatch, and management so that the factory runs as one unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the founders' representative on the ground — translate their decisions and priorities into action across the factory.
- Serve as the single point of coordination between design, production, procurement, quality, dispatch, and admin teams.
- Track all ongoing projects and orders, follow up with every department, and remove bottlenecks so work keeps moving.
- Run daily and weekly reviews with department heads to check progress against timelines and flag delays early.
- Ensure smooth flow of information — drawings from design reach production on time, materials are ordered before they run short, and dispatch knows what's ready.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and outsourced partners on behalf of the management.
- Monitor factory-wide performance — output, costs, quality issues, manpower — and report directly to the founders.
- Handle day-to-day operational decisions independently, escalating only what genuinely needs founder attention.




- Support the founders on new initiatives — process improvements, new machinery, expansion plans, or systems implementation.
- Step in wherever needed to solve problems, whether it's a production delay, a vendor issue, or an inter-department conflict.

Requirements:

- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, factory management, or a similar coordination-heavy role (furniture or interiors industry preferred).
- Robust organisational and follow-up skills — someone who closes loops and doesn't let things slip.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable dealing with everyone from workshop staff to founders and vendors.
- Ability to understand production basics — drawings, materials, timelines — enough to have meaningful conversations with every department.
- A problem-solver's mindset: proactive, hands-on, and calm under pressure.
- High level of ownership, integrity, and discretion, as you will be working closely with management.
