We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Factory Manager cum Sales Manager to manage our factory operations as well as develop and grow our sales business.
? Key Responsibilities
Factory & Production Management
- Manage day-to-day factory operations and production activities.
- Plan production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor production quality, efficiency, wastage and costs.
- Manage workers, supervisors and factory staff.
- Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain safety, discipline and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, accounts and dispatch teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Visit customers and understand their requirements.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Follow up on enquiries, orders, payments and deliveries.
- Develop new markets and expand the customer base.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure customer commitments are met.
? Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5–10+ years in manufacturing/factory operations and sales.
- Experience in plastic/manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Valuable communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently handle factory operations and sales activities.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, costing and customer management.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
