About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Export Business Development Manager to lead international business development and expand the company's presence in global pharmaceutical markets. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pharmaceutical exports, international markets, client acquisition, and export documentation.

Fluent English communication is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategies for expanding pharmaceutical business in international markets.
- Identify and develop new overseas customers, distributors, agents, and business partners.
- Generate international business leads through market research, databases, exhibitions, email campaigns, and other channels.
- Manage the complete business development cycle, from lead generation and negotiations to order closure.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with international clients and distributors.
- Conduct market research to identify new countries, products, and business opportunities.
- Handle pricing, quotations, negotiations, and commercial discussions with overseas clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, production, documentation, and timely shipment.
- Ensure proper coordination regarding export documentation, shipping, logistics, and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, orders, payments, and pending shipments.
- Achieve assigned export sales and business development targets.
- Maintain accurate records of international clients, leads, orders, and sales activities.




- Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and business meetings when required.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and developments in international pharmaceutical markets.
- Prepare regular reports on export sales, market development, and business opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Export Business Development / International Pharma Sales.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical export markets and international business practices.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory – both verbal and written.
- Excellent negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of international sales and business development processes.
- Experience in handling overseas clients and distributors.
- Good knowledge of export documentation and logistics.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business meetings and exhibitions, if required.

Salary

Competitive salary based on experience, skills, and industry standards.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with a proven track record in pharmaceutical export sales and international business development, along with excellent English communication skills, will be preferred.
