Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, usability, and reliability of our web-based SaaS applications. The role will involve manual testing, test case preparation, defect identification and tracking, regression testing, API testing, database validation, and exposure to automation testing. The candidate will work closely with Development, Product, Support, and other cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:





- Understand requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform manual testing of web-based applications, including functional, UI, smoke, sanity, regression, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through the complete defect life cycle using Jira.
- Perform basic API testing and database/data validation.
- Support automation testing and execution of automated test scripts.
- Conduct regression and release testing to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, Support, and other teams for timely issue resolution.
- Maintain QA documentation and test execution reports.
- Identify potential risks, edge cases, and opportunities to improve product quality.

Qualifications:

- 1-3 years in experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Bachelor’s in computer science/ BCA/ MCA/ MCS/ BE
- Good understanding of Software Testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Basic understanding of Manual Testing and Defect Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of test case and test scenario preparation.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Exposure to API testing/Postman will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Automation Testing and tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, etc. will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Jira or other defect tracking tools is preferred.
