Role Description- The Executive Pastry Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, responsible for leading all pastry and bakery operations. This role oversees recipe development, production planning, and daily preparation of breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty items, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.

Chef will manage inventory, ordering, and cost control, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and supervise, train, and schedule pastry staff. Day-to-day tasks include hands-on baking and decorating,



coordinating with the kitchen team on menu items and specials, and supporting events or catering needs as required.

Qualifications

- Robust bakery and baking skills, including experience with breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Proficiency in food preparation and cooking, with solid overall culinary skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop recipes, standardize processes, and maintain product consistency.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
- Experience leading a pastry or bakery team, including training and scheduling staff.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle high-volume production.
- Creativity in flavor pairings, presentation, and seasonal or special menus.
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
