Purpose of the Role The Security Officer will be responsible for the overall security of personnel, material, and assets across the company's ongoing ground-mount solar projects. The role requires coordinating security operations across multiple sites simultaneously and ensuring uniform security standards and protocols are maintained at each location.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, implement, and monitor security arrangements at all assigned project sites (Bidar, NP Kunta, Pavagada, and any future sites)

- Supervise and coordinate site security guards/personnel deployed at each project

- Conduct regular security audits and inspections across sites; identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action

- Control access at project sites manage entry/exit of workers, vehicles, and visitors

- Monitor and prevent theft, pilferage, or unauthorized removal of material and equipment (panels, cables, structures, tools, etc.)

- Investigate security incidents, thefts, or breaches and prepare incident reports

- Liaise with local police, law enforcement, and government authorities as required

- Coordinate with Project Managers and HSE team to align security protocols with overall site safety plans

- Maintain security logs, registers, and documentation for each site

- Ensure CCTV/surveillance systems (where installed) are functional and monitored





- Train and brief security guards on standard operating procedures

- Travel between project sites as needed to conduct checks and resolve issues

- Prepare periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) security status reports for management

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate (any discipline); ex-servicemen or candidates with police/paramilitary background preferred

- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security management, preferably in construction, EPC, or solar/renewable energy project sites

- Experience managing security across multiple/remote sites is highly desirable

- Knowledge of security protocols for large open sites (ground-mount solar, industrial, or infrastructure projects)

Skills Required

- Robust leadership and people-management skills (to supervise guard force)

- Good communication skills (English/Kannada/Hindi as applicable to site locations)

- Ability to travel frequently and work independently across sites

- Familiarity with incident reporting, access control systems, and basic documentation

- Problem-solving and crisis-management ability

Other Requirements

- Willingness to be based at or travel extensively between Bidar, NP Kunta, and Pavagada sites

- Valid driving license (preferred, for inter-site travel)
