We are looking for an Events Marketing Associate who will take ownership of marketing QShala’s events, building strong networks and campaigns that drive awareness, participation, and registrations across our inter-institutional and inter-organisational quiz formats.

Role Overview

This role focuses on marketing QShala’s events and expanding their reach and participation by building strong networks with schools, colleges, corporates, and professional communities.

The Events Marketing Associate will plan and execute event marketing initiatives, build partnerships, drive registrations, and create pre-event buzz for QShala’s quizzes and engagement events. You will work closely with the Operations and Communications teams to ensure marketing efforts translate into strong participation and successful event execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Marketing & Participation Growth

- Drive awareness, registrations, and participation for inter-school, inter-college, and inter-corporate quizzes .
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives aligned with event objectives and timelines.
- Identify relevant audiences, communities, and channels to expand event reach.
- Track participation trends and identify opportunities to improve registrations and audience engagement.

Outreach & Relationship Building
- Liaise with schools, colleges, corporates, HR/L&D; teams, skilled networks, faculty, and student coordinators .
- Build and maintain relationships with institutions, organisations, and communities to drive participation.
- Develop partnerships that encourage repeat participation across quiz editions and cities.
- Represent QShala in meetings,



presentations, and marketing conversations with partners.

Campaign Planning & Execution
- Support the planning and execution of digital and on-ground event marketing campaigns .
- Coordinate campaign timelines, outreach activities, reminders, and promotional initiatives.
- Work with internal teams to ensure event messaging is clear, consistent, and delivered on time.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotion and community-led event marketing.

Email & WhatsApp Marketing
- Execute email and WhatsApp campaigns using Brevo and other mailing or CRM suites .
- Manage outreach lists, campaign schedules, reminders, follow-ups, and participation nudges.
- Segment audiences and tailor communication based on institution, audience type, event, or campaign.
- Track campaign performance and use insights to improve future outreach.

Event Buzz & Visibility
- Build pre-event buzz and audience engagement through teasers, trivia challenges, countdowns, announcements, and targeted messaging.
- Work with the Communications team to promote upcoming events across relevant channels.
- Assist in maintaining engagement with partner institutions and communities before and after events.
- Explore creative ways to increase visibility and participation for QShala events.

Cross-team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure marketing commitments and participation targets align with event logistics.
- Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure consistent messaging across outreach and promotional channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of event marketing campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting
- Track registrations, campaign performance, outreach conversions,



and participation numbers .
- Maintain campaign and outreach data using Excel/Google Sheets and relevant CRM tools.
- Analyse what channels, audiences, and campaigns are driving participation.
- Share insights and recommendations to strengthen future event marketing efforts.

Travel & On-ground Presence
- Travel periodically to partner institutions, corporate offices, and event venues to support marketing, outreach, and engagement activities.
- Represent QShala at relevant events, meetings, and partner interactions.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or Event Management is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in event marketing, outreach, partnerships, event coordination, community engagement, or similar roles.
- Prior experience working with schools, colleges, youth communities, or corporate events is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with email marketing and CRM tools such as Brevo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho Campaigns , or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills .
- Ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns with clear timelines and objectives.
- Data-oriented mindset with working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets .
- Creative, proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple events, campaigns, and stakeholders simultaneously .
- Comfortable with travel and on-ground event environments.
