- Analyze business requirements, source-to-target mappings, and data models.

- Design and execute ETL test cases, test plans, and test strategies.

- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation testing.

- Execute database testing using complex SQL queries.

- Verify data quality, completeness, consistency, and integrity across systems.

- Conduct data warehouse, migration, and reporting validation testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to resolve data-related issues.

- Validate incremental loads, batch jobs, and scheduling processes.

- Support end-to-end testing in Data Warehouse and BI environments.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- 3 to 8 years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.

- Solid expertise in writing and executing complex SQL Queries.





- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, Pentaho, or similar tools.

- Experience in validating ETL workflows, mappings, transformations, and data pipelines.

- Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.

- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata, or Snowflake.

- Strong understanding of Data Migration and Data Validation techniques.

- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Big Data Testing using Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or Databricks.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience in testing data lakes and modern data platforms.

- Knowledge of automation tools for ETL validation.

- Familiarity with BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or Business Objects.

- Experience with Python or Shell scripting for data validation.
