Position: Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer

Location: Vapi/Surat, Gujarat

Experience: 2–5 years in a relevant field

Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical control panels and projects.
- Design and develop HT/LT electrical panels as per project requirements.
- Select and size electrical components, including switchgear, relays, transformers, fuses, contactors, MCCBs, and other control components.
- Break down projects into individual components and accurately estimate material, labour, equipment, overhead, and other associated costs.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.
- Support electrical design, documentation, and estimation activities.

Required Skills




- Sound knowledge of HT/LT electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical component selection and sizing.
- Proficiency in electrical estimation and design software.
- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and preparation of electrical drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Software Competency
- InstaQuote or similar electrical estimation software.
- AutoCAD 2D.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of electrical design and estimation tools will be an added advantage.
