Role Description The Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing drawings and specifications, and gathering data related to labor, materials, and equipment. This role includes collaborating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to refine budgets, support value engineering efforts, and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

The Estimator will help develop and update cost databases, support feasibility analyses, and contribute to progress reporting and dashboards. The position also involves working with BIM models and other digital tools to improve estimating accuracy and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform detailed cost estimating, budgeting, and cost management for construction projects.




- Experience interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and BIM models for quantity take-offs.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for feasibility analysis, value engineering, and scheduling support.
- Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and cloud-based project management or reporting tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, designers, consultants, and contractors.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and commitment to accuracy and quality control.
- Relevant education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Prior experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying; experience with BIM and 3D modeling is an advantage.
- Understanding of local construction practices, materials, and regulations in Indore and the broader region.
- Ability to work on-site full time and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
