Role Description This full-time, on-site Erection Engineer role is based in Bhubaneswar.

The Erection

Engineer oversees and coordinates all on-site activities related to the erection of pre-engineered steel buildings and conventional steel structures. Daily responsibilities include supervising erection crews, monitoring installation quality, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines. The role involves liaising with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors, planning erection sequences, managing materials and equipment on-site, and resolving technical issues during construction.

Engineer also prepares progress reports, supports inspections,



and contributes to continuous improvement of erection methods and site practices.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of steel structures, pre-engineered building systems, and construction methodologies, including reading and interpreting structural and fabrication drawings.
- Experience in on-site supervision of erection activities, coordination of labor and equipment, and implementation of safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in basic engineering calculations, measurement, alignment, and leveling techniques relevant to steel erection and civil works.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with project stakeholders, resolving site issues, and providing transparent instructions to site crews.
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, manage time and resources on-site, and meet project deadlines under varying site conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial building erection projects; experience with warehouses, factories, or metal roofing installations is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, willingness to work on-site in varying weather and site environments, and readiness to follow organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
