Job Purpose To ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety, ESG and Sustainability requirements, drive EHS initiatives, support audits and legal compliance, and improve environmental and workplace safety standards across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and corporate EHS requirements.

- Implement and maintain EHS management systems in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and EMAS requirements.

- Track environmental protection programs, objectives, corrective actions and closure of audit non-conformities.

- Coordinate internal and external EHS, environmental, ESG and sustainability audits.

- Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses, environmental consents and regulatory approvals.

- Coordinate statutory returns, environmental statements and periodic EHS reports to relevant authorities.

- Monitor Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations and ensure treated effluent compliance with applicable standards.

- Drive hazardous waste management, disposal, recycling, water conservation and resource-efficiency initiatives.

- Lead accident investigation,



root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

- Drive safety committee activities and conduct EHS training for employees and contractual workforce.

- Support risk assessments, substance approvals, SFMEA/EFMEA, SOPs, safety checklists and machinery-related EHS assessments.

- Drive energy-saving, sustainability and environmental improvement projects at plant level.

- Coordinate with customers and stakeholders for EHS, ESG and sustainability audits.

- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation, records, compliance trackers and management reports.

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of environmental, occupational health and industrial safety regulations.

- Hands-on experience in EHS audits, statutory compliance, incident investigation and CAPA.

- Experience in ETP, hazardous waste management, energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.

- Strong understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and EMAS.

- Valuable coordination, reporting, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience in manufacturing / plant environment preferred.
