Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for an English and Math Teacher based in Rajkot. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in English and Mathematics aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning goals.

Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student progress through assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will support diverse learning needs, maintain a positive classroom environment, and use innovative teaching methods and educational resources to enhance student understanding.



Additional tasks include participating in staff meetings, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and contributing to school activities that enrich the overall learning experience.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge and classroom teaching skills in English and Mathematics, with the ability to teach different grade levels as needed.
- Skills in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment, including designing tests, assignments, and progress reports.
- Classroom management, student engagement, and communication skills to create an inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment.
- Ability to integrate creative teaching strategies, educational technology, and activity-based learning into daily instruction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field; a teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching in a school setting is beneficial, especially within progressive or learner-centered educational systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, collaboration with staff and parents, and alignment with TGES values and mission.
