Engineering Manager (Hands-on)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers while actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications, cloud solutions, and CRM integrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in .NET, Node.js, Python, Azure, and Salesforce, combined with proven leadership and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and career development planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for enterprise applications and platform integrations.
- Remain hands-on with software development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and solution design.
- Drive adoption of up-to-date engineering practices, cloud-native architectures, DevOps methodologies, and CRM platform integrations.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA, Salesforce administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Delivery & Execution

- Manage project planning, sprint execution, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure successful execution of Agile development processes.




- Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity, quality, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Strong hands-on development experience with:
- C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Node.js / TypeScript
- Python
- Experience designing and building:
- REST APIs
- Microservices
- Event-driven architectures
- Distributed systems
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

Azure Cloud Expertise

- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Salesforce Experience

- Strong understanding of the Salesforce Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Experience leading Salesforce integration initiatives with enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud,



Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft, or middleware solutions.
- Familiarity with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce security models.
- Experience collaborating with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Business Analysts.
- Understanding of CRM data models, lead management, customer lifecycle processes, and customer engagement platforms.
- Experience implementing scalable and secure Salesforce integration architectures.

DevOps & Data Technologies

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across application development, cloud engineering, and Salesforce platforms.
- Experience with React, Angular, or modern front-end frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Azure and Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
