Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to manage the Quality Assurance Engineering function for WLAN, Networking, Embedded, and IoT products, combining strong technical expertise with team leadership, customer engagement, quality strategy, and delivery accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage test strategy, planning and execution across Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, Scale, and Interoperability testing.

- Drive development and adoption of test automation frameworks using Python/Bash and tools such as pyATS, Robot Framework, and Cypress.

- Provide technical leadership in

WLAN (802.11), Networking, Embedded, and IoT product validation.

- Drive automation, test coverage, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage customer delivery commitments

, ensuring quality deliverables are completed on time and meet customer expectations.

- Engage directly with customers on quality, delivery status, technical issues, escalations, and feedback

.

- Understand and track customer sentiment

, identify recurring concerns, and drive corrective actions to improve customer experience.

- Drive delivery excellence through effective planning, prioritization, risk management, and timely resolution of quality issues.

- Manage and drive defect investigation,

issue reproduction, and joint debugging with Development teams.

- Manage and mentor QA/SDET/Automation teams, including hiring, performance, and career development.

- Collaborate with Development, Product, and Customer Engineering teams to ensure release quality, customer readiness, and successful delivery

Requirements

- 10–15+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Networking, or related areas.

- Strong expertise in

WLAN/802.11, Networking, Embedded, and/or IoT

.

- Strong Python and/or Bash scripting skills.

- Experience with pyATS, Robot Framework, Cypress

, or equivalent automation frameworks.

- Experience in API/UI automation and CI/CD-based testing.

- Hands-on experience with

Ixia, Veriwave, iPerf, Octoscope, LANforge, Wireshark

, or similar tools.

- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, customer delivery, stakeholder management, and handling customer escalations

.

- Strong understanding of delivery management, customer expectations, quality metrics, and continuous improvement

.

- Robust people leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in

Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline
