We’re hiring an Engineering Lead to join our team in Koramangala, Bangalore. This is a hands-on role working across product, architecture, engineering, and AI.

What You’ll Do

- Own the architecture and engineering of the Finz platform across web, mobile, backend, data, and AI
- Build and ship new product capabilities across finance, data, workflows, automation, and AI
- Develop production AI systems using models, agents, tools, and structured workflows
- Make technical decisions across applications, APIs, data, infrastructure, security, and reliability
- Improve the performance, resilience, observability, and maintainability of existing systems
- Establish engineering standards across development, testing, code review, deployment, and production operations
- Review, debug, and improve code produced by engineers and AI coding agents
- Lead technical delivery from product requirements through production
- Hire, mentor, and lead the engineering team as it grows

What We’re Looking For

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience




- Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production software
- Strong backend engineering and system design skills
- Experience building modern web applications, APIs, and data-intensive systems
- Strong understanding of databases, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, security, and production reliability
- Experience owning architecture and technical decisions for production systems
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or production AI applications
- Active experience using AI coding tools as part of day-to-day engineering
- Experience reviewing code, leading technical work, and mentoring engineers

Preferred

- Experience building fintech, accounting, banking, payments, or financial software
- Experience working with complex financial or operational data
- Experience with third-party integrations, data pipelines, event-driven systems, and workflow orchestration
- Experience building agentic systems, tool calling, evaluations, and human-in-the-loop workflows
- Experience taking technical ownership of an existing product and evolving its architecture
