The ELV Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, commissioning, and ensuring the proper functioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, Public Address, and other security systems. The role involves system configuration, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all installed systems operate according to project specifications and client requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform testing and commissioning of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA systems, and structured cabling.
- Configure and program DVR/NVR, access control panels, biometric devices, and network equipment.
- Verify system integration, connectivity, and communication between different ELV systems.
- Conduct site testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification during commissioning stages.
- Ensure systems are installed and functioning as per project drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and technicians for smooth commissioning activities.
- Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, and handover documentation.




- Provide technical support and basic training to clients or facility teams on system usage.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during testing and final project handover.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of CCTV systems, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, and other ELV technologies.
- Experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, switches, and routers.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in ELV installation, testing, or commissioning.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Honeywell, or similar ELV systems.
- Knowledge of BMS integration and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical documentation.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
