Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Kanpur. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial construction sites.

Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and cabling, fitting switches and fixtures, and ensuring proper grounding and safety compliance. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting, conducting routine inspections, and completing preventive maintenance.



The Electrician will work closely with site supervisors and other trades to ensure that all electrical work meets project specifications and applicable safety standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and secure electrical practices.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, and panels.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment in construction environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and resolving issues efficiently.
- Understanding of basic electrical engineering principles relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Relevant technical certification or ITI/diploma in Electrical trade; licensed electrician status is an advantage.
- Capability to work safely with tools and equipment, including use of PPE and adherence to site safety protocols.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to collaborate with site teams and supervisors.
